Tungsten hammered ring with Moonstone & opal
Our new version and second attempt to create a moon structure in a ring, well we can say we succeed! If you look up close you can see the dept and ridges from the moonstone that resemble the moon.
It doesn’t just look like the moon as it’s in fact the moon. We used genuine moondust and fragments of moon meteorite NWA 11474 feldspar breccia purchased from members of the IMCA.
This rings final touch is that the surface glows white when charged with UV (best is UV flashlight because this is pure UV-light).
To create a little sparkle in the ring we add a small amount of white opal to the inlay because it gives you that sparkle that the moon gives when it lights on earth.
